Three Cheers – £351.87 raised for the British Tinnitus Association

We spent the afternoon chatting and getting to know each other. Tinnitus Rooms also had the opportunity to provide some advise around tinnitus and helped to raise awareness of the activities of the BTA.

A wonderful turnout

After 3 hours of laughter and socialising we started counting the money. We were astounded to see that we had raised £351.87. This highlighted the generosity of the people involved. The money raised will make such an incredible difference to the people who are suffering with tinnitus. Tinnitus Rooms would like to personally thank everyone that donated from the bottom of our hearts. The kindness shown really moved us and we look forward to many more events in the future.

Sponsorship

We were very fortunate to have sponsorship offered by Pukka Tea and Marks and Spencer. They provided us with all the tea and cake needed to throw the best possible tea party. As well as this, some local businesses got involved such as the Coach & Horses pub supplying some delicious sausage rolls. Reddoor, a local café, also offered a large helping of coffee and walnut cake. We wish to thank all of those involved for their support, without which the event would not have been a success.

Do you have tinnitus and need support?

Many of the people who turned up on the day had tinnitus themselves. They will be looking to attend our first free group session on the 13th July at Dragonfly Lifestyle, Greenwich Market. If you wish to come along please register your interest below.
